A reader should definitely read this book. This book is a good read and  is written in a beautiful way...

Train to Pakistan by Khushwant Singh showcases the lives of common people during the India-Pakistan partition. Excerpt from the book:- " Muslims said the Hindus had planned and started the killing. My view on the book: Before reading this book, I have read few years ago, that, during India-Pakistan partition, millions of people lost their lives while going to their 'respective countries'. As everyone else, I too welcomed 2018 with lots of resolutions and things to do. But me...being me...I didn't do any of those. Now when I look back,I realize that it was a crazy year. Had some bitter-sweet experiences, ups & downs and much more throughout the year. I also got to know and learn many things along the way. So here I am going to share all the lessons/things that I learned in this year, that went by so swiftly. To give up and to give in seems easy and a sensible thing to do in certain situations...but it’s also worthy to take that one step, that one leap towards your goal. Success and failures are two sides of same coin so don’t be afraid if you face a failure. Learn from it and go ahead. It’s ok if you don’t achieve/attain things as per the “timelines”.
