My view:- Anne frank shares in her diary how she and her family had to go into hiding and how each day was spent in constant fear of being discovered and the consequences thereof. She shared in it how there was distance between her and her mother, her dream of becoming a journalist and a writer someday. Through her thoughts, one could see that she was a firm believer in equality and feminism. One can see the transition in her over the course of time that she was in hiding. She questions the point of a war. She questions why a discrimination based on faith. She questions herself for being in hiding when there are millions of Jews who were losing life for something that was illogical.

She lived there with a hope of being free someday but she, her family and others were discovered and were transferred to concentration camps whereby she and her sister because of an epidemic before the concentration camp was freed by the British.
Thanks to her father, who was the sole survivor, went on to get her diary published and spent his life spreading Anne's words all over the world.

I would suggest this book to be read by everyone at least in their life time, irrespective of their age.

Rating: Rating this book is absurd, for this isn't a fiction but true story of a teenager, who if survived could been a renowned journalist.
