A day out with friends

Today I had fun with some really good people...a day out with some good friends. I had to go shopping for a gift for my Boss for his farewell. That was the task assigned to me by my colleagues. Called a friend, hired a car and we set off to find the best gift. Went from one shop to another in search of it but didn’t find it. Kept roaming on the roads of Hyderabad and it was fun. We decided to call other friends and we four...me, Vishnu, Megha and Athul. Went to inorbit mall and started our window shopping session. As usual I made Vishnu get me the book “Jesus Calling”. I’m such a bookworm.

It isn’t the book that made my day special, but the laughs we all had, the teasing, our group search for a gift, KFC bucket & the milkshake that we all shared. It isn’t just the group effort of deciding on the gift that mattered but the time we spent together.

It isn’t the selfies that we take with our friends that matters but the memories we share with them. It isn’t the money that was spent that matters but the laughs we share with them. It isn’t the place that matters but the people with us that matters.
Today has been a blessed day for me because I have spent some good time with people that are friends...the genuine ones.

My new found friends...Megha & Athul...

Also, found the gift for him....
